RUSSIA AND CHINA: AN APPROACHING CONFLICT?

The seeming rapport in recent years between Russia and China is one of the foundations of the post-Cold War world. Yet Russo-China friendship is an aberration of history. This article examines whether the Sino-Russian accord is based on secure and enduring foundations, or whether it is a very temporary alliance of convenience that will erupt sooner rather than later into conflict and expanding conflagration throughout Asia. China's past inclination to resort to invasion backgrounds the current suspicion between the two newfound "friends" amidst China's growing incursions into traditional Russian spheres of influences, and even within the Russian Far East. Scenarios for future conflict are examined, particularly what will emerge as major contentions arise over water resources, both between Russia and China and further afield. Also examined is the recent historical relationship between China and the USA.

WHITE FORUM

We are very grateful to everyone who took part in preparing and organizing the international conference "Europe and Russia: New Perspectives". The new forum, conducted successfully on July 20-21, 2007, on the day of Perun - the Indo-European Thunderer - is a direct continuation of the forum "The White World's Future", that took place in 2006 [http://www.ateney.ru/eng/eng011.htm]. This year the report by Mr. Guillaume Faye "Euro-Russia: Concrete Bases for the Future Imperial Confederacy" has been at the top of our agenda. Reasoning from the fact that our nations have a common origin, common roots of languages and cultures, as well as a common will to preserve their identitites;
taking into consideration that all of our nations face a mortal danger today. Taking into consideration that they risk not only to lose their identities, but also to vanish from the face of the earth;
establishing the fact that the governments of our countries and existing international organizations, NATO included, do not assure the existence of European nations, intensify the danger and do not to make efforts to bring together Russia and the European Union (which is, to our mind, of vital importance today),
we, the participants of the above-named conference have taken the decisions:
to create an alternative international council aimed at fighting for the survival of the White nations and preserving their identities.

 We need another way. We want a revolution among Whites. An absolutely new alternative to this vampirism. We want genetic improvement, cultural renaissance, and political organization. FOURTH GENERATION WARFARE
|
 Roughly speaking, "fourth generation warfare" includes all forms of conflict where the other side refuses to stand up and fight fair. What distinguishes 4GW from earlier generations is that typically at least one side is something other than a military force organized and operating under the control of a national government, and one that often transcends national boundaries.
The attacks on the Pentagon and World Trade Center are horrific examples of operations as part of a campaign conducted according to fourth generation principles. They dispelled forever the notion that 4GW is just "terrorism" or something that happens only in poverty-stricken Third World countries. But it is a strange form of warfare, one where, for example, military force plays a much smaller (though still critical) role than in earlier generations, often supporting initiatives that are more political, diplomatic, and economic. As important as finding and destroying the actual combatants, for example, is drying up the bases of popular support that allow them to plan and then execute their attacks. Perhaps most odd of all, being seen as "too successful" militarily may create a backlash, making the opponent's other elements of 4GW more effective.

EUROPE AND THE CHALLENG OF N. A. T. O.

Some of these menaces ware real, some exaggerated or simply -fictions but however Americans succeed in their attempts to show them as reasons which are enough for the continuation of the American presence on the European shores of the Atlantic ocean. Because America is naval, not continental power, except the Atlantic in the whole "defense " structure has been incorporated Mediterranean sea with maritime Mediterranean countries. This moves resulted with the creating of the clear contours of of North Atlantic alliance which are involving the both shores of the Atlantic ocean and Mediterranean Sea which can be count in this American strategy of guarding of Europe and penetrating to the East as the gulf of the Atlantic. But it is interesting that NATO was strictly Euro-American alliance. Nether American puppet states from the western hemisphere, nor the Asian countries like Iran or Iraq didn't become NATO members.

THE RETURN OF THE GODS
|
"The Slavic Gods" is the first album to present the collection of 230 reproductions of contemporary Slavic artists' works dedicated to the ancient Gods. These artists are united into a movement by the ideals of our racial archetype and sacred tradition. The edition is accompanied by historical research on the pagan images in art from the ancient Rus to the XX century by Dr. Pavel Tulaev. In the first years of the 20th century, the Russian empire had grown to be one of the biggest world powers in terms of territorial greatness, rates of economic growth, industrial development and international influence. The estates of the Russian tsars of the Romanov dynasty, the Russian princes (dukes), noblemen and landowners spread from the Baltic and Black Sea in the West to the Pacific Ocean in the East. All in all, this gigantic country experienced an age of extensive economic development. As a result, the living standards were improved and the national culture flourished in all spheres.

The two things that were evident on the morning of the 4th of November, 2006 in Moscow was the brisk cold air and the number of police on the streets. November 4 is People's Unity Day in Russia. Although this day has a new name, it originally was a holiday to commemorate the liberation of the Moscow princedom from Polish invaders in 1612. Last year in 2005, was the inauguration of People's Unity Day. Russians were split on the meaning if this day as some took it for the unity of all who were within the Russian borders and others took it as unity of only ethnic Russians. One seeing a venue of multiculturalism, the other see nationalism and still tied to the old meaning of the day, a day of liberation, liberation from illegal immigrants.

The conference had both scientific and practical natures and was dedicated to the common roots, traditions and contemporary problems faced by the White World, and their possible solutions.

RUSSIAN STATISTICS
|
The total population ot the Russian Federation is 145 000 000. Only 20 000 000 are males active in business or involved in any official job. 1 000 000 is in prison. 4 000 000 are alcoholics. The loss of population due to frequency of abortions is 2,5 times as big as the loss of population during WWI and Civil War and WWII taken together. 1,5 000 000 people (aproximately 2% of the population) are infected by HIV. Russia has lost about 35 000 000 ethnic Russians in the last 12 years. We still lose aproximately 2 000 000 a year. According to the statistics, approximately 8 000 000 mongoloids (Chineese and Vietnamese) live in Russia. In the 90-s there arrived about 500 000 a year, now it makes 2 000 000 a year. The possible prognosis: is 40 000 000 Chinese by the year of 2020.

THE ATHENAEUM

THE ATHENAEUM is a Russian international edition that inherits the tradition of worshiping Athena, the ancient goddess of wisdom and warfare. In the world history there were several Athenaeums, sprung as centers of science, art and enlightenment. Undergoing changes along the centuries, this tradition however has never been interrupted. Only in Russia there were three magazines published under such title. Our "ATHENAEUM" doesn't imitate any of the anterior schools. We are conscious that returning to the prechristian religions in their archaic forms is impossible nowadays. However it's quite possible and even desirable to go on with the classical heritage. Basing ourselves upon our predecessors' experience and studying their works, we focus on the up-to-date tasks of major importance.
